Thought I'd take a quick moment from staring at spreadsheets and update you on Hunter's 1st year doctor's appointment yesterday:
Our Little Man is officially 32" tall (WOW!!!) and has lost a little weight since becoming so mobile -- he now weighs 26#, 5 oz. The nurse showed me on their growth chart that he has literally gone off the charts with his size!
Dr. Shah has given us the go-ahead to switch Hunter over to whole milk which will mean a drastic $25/week cut in our grocery budgets for the loss of formula cans (yey!). It will take a few weeks to officially transition him but overall am excited.
Even though he has shown no signs of it, found out yesterday that HWB has a middle ear infection so we started antibiotics yesterday. He actually seems to like the amoxicillan which is too funny.
Now 3 weeks out from Hunter's previous hospitalization, Dr. Shah is still not satisfied with the way his lungs sound. So we receieved a script for Pulmicort yesterday as well -- it's an inhalant that will help prevent asthma attacks. We will have to administer the Pumicort 1x every day from now - the end of October in order to help Hunter as we enter a typically bad respiratory season. You can read more about it here: http://www.drugs.com/pulmicort.html.
We are excited to have Bill and Cherry visit next week and help Brad with Munchkin while I am away on business to Sheboygan, WI. I'll be sure to send many photos from tropical Sheboygan while I'm there. :)
