It is with a heavy heart that we announce tomorrow's departure of our dear Beckham. After much dubious searching, I managed to find a family via Craigslist trying to replace a pooch for their father. He lives on 58 acres of land, takes his pets with him everywhere and feels leashes are for 'animals' but that pets are part of the family. There are 3 other dogs who have the run of the land and would teach Becks the boundaries. The only thing we have asked for in exchange of him is to pick up in love and care where we have left off. We have so many memories (both wonderful and not so wonderful) with Beckham and only hope he will go on to develop thousands more with his new family. It is truly bittersweet.
For our Bubba -- we love you.

So sorry and also totally understand. It is so hard to part with a pet--but Beckham will be okay.

Thinking of you and sending you all love! You will always have a special place in Beckham's heart. I know that it will be hard over the next few days/weeks, but his new home sounds wonderful and I have faith that they will love him! ...and WOW, 58 acres...lucky boy ;)
